If you ask a cabbie to take you to "Pierre" in Windsor, chances are, you'll never get there. Now, ask the driver to take you to "Pier-re" and you'll be driven there without question. Even Windsorites aren't quite sure why we pronounce it this way. Whatever the reason, this tee pays homage to the street that I grew up on.
