Chapter 6: "weST" Side Pride
Collaborators: Sydney Taylor, Tribal Printing, and YOU
Project: "weST" Neigbourhoodie
As a follow-up project to our "WalkeRville" Neighbourhoodie design, we took to the social media world and asked our supporters to help us decide which Neighbourhoodie to rep next. The result: weST (siiiiiide!).
Sometimes things work out for a reason. Although I did move around the city a bit as a child, I grew up on the west end of Windsor. It was in the west where I went to school, had my first beer, met my closest friends, and met the love of my life. So when the WEST was voted as our next Neighbourhoodie, needless to say, I was throwin' up the dub.
Did you notice that the ST in weST is capitalized in the title? That's no type-o. The ST represents Sydney Taylor - the meticulous graphic designer behind the this masterful design:
FUN FACT: There is a RARE "R" hidden somewhere in the design. Can you spot it?
I met Sydney through one of our previous collaborators: Carlo Macasaet (#collabolife). Once I got a look at her portfolio, I could see why she came so highly recommended. Sydney prides herself in being a perfectionist, and it shows through her work. In her work, you see meticulous attention to detail. Sydney is the definition of a true professional.
We have a couple of projects in the works with Sydney and look forward to many more.
